Atlas Specialized Transport, Inc. was formed in January of 1990 and 25 years later is continuing to provide quality and affordable transportation services. The first seven years were spent at a terminal location in Burnsville, MN. Owner, Jeannie Schubert, had visions of a facility that was designed as efficient, accessible, and functional and had the ability to handle shipments of many different types, sizes and weights. That vision became a reality in August of 1997 when the company moved into its new facility in the Airlake Industrial Park in Lakeville, MN. There the company continued to flourish providing trucking services to the precision machine industry along with manufacturers of products that require open trailers (flatbed, step deck and low boy) due to their size and weight.
